Rules of The Ultimate Prediction League
1) All e-mails for the Ultimate Prediction League will be dealt with through ultimatepredictions@yahoo.co.uk

2) Fights listed only in the e-mail will be counted towards the league.

3) You will receive the fights to be predicted, 7 days before they are due back in, if you are late with returned predictions, for example, after the stated date and time provided as a deadline, they will be discounted, there will be no leniency for this. The scores for that week will not be counted, if the predictions are received late.

4) For each fight predicted you must add the name of the winner of the fight and also the round that the fight will end. If you think the fight will go to points simply put points. Example - Joe Calzaghe v Mikkel Kessler - Calzaghe points

5) When a fight is ended prematurely through a cut, injury or a disqualification, the round that the fight ended will be the round that counts. For example, if the prediction was Calzaghe points and the fight is stopped at the end of the 6th round due to a cut and goes to the cards, only those predicting Calzaghe 6th will receive the maximum points. The fight has to reach the conclusion of the number of rounds set at the start of the fight for the points score to count.

6) You will receive 1 point for predicting the correct winner of the fight, however the only way you are able to gain the maximum score of 2 points per fight is to predict both the winner of the fight and also the round they are victorious. For example, Calzaghe 6th and the result is a stoppage for Kessler in that round, 0 points will be scored. You have to get both correct in order to get the second point.

7) At the end of the 4 weeks the league will end and prizes will be sent out to the winner. Only the winner of the league at the end of the 4 weeks will receive a prize, should there be a tie in the scores, names will be placed in a hat and the winner drawn. The top 5 places in the league will automatically receive free admission into next months prediction league. These cannot be carried over to other months unless exceptional circumstances exist and you receive written permission from the editor John Tandy.

8) The winner of the league will be placed by the number of points that have been accumulated. Top of the league will be the person with the most points and not necessarily the most correct individual predictions.
