Left Jab boxing promotion, Sunday September the 13th

Miranda Carter puts on a marathon ten fight show at the York Hall in Bethnal Green on her Left Jab promotion on Sunday September the 13th 2009.

As I have attended a majority of her shows, I will say one thing that thanks to some good matchmaking from Roy Hilder, a Left Jab show is great value for money, I know I have said some nice, but very honest words about another fellow promoter in Spencer Fearon, but I only give praise where it's due!

And what with Spencer being one of Britain's youngest promoters and Miranda as a woman in this a mainly male orientated sport, and only in a handful of promotions between them, the early signs are suggesting that these two so called newcomers are going to have successful careers in there chosen field, living proof that boxing is far from dead!

So to the show and a feast of fights are here for the boxing fan, at super middle there's the sensational Jack "13" Morris the rising and talented Margate boxer, the fighter with "13" for a nickname doing his thing on the thirteenth!, {at time of writing Jack was recovering from flu but hopes to appear} also there's big punching cruiser Leon "solid" Williams a former ABA champion looking for his third pro win, both are against selected opposition, plus Nathan Wiese faces Ryan Toms at light middle over four threes, and John Wayne Hibbert and Pat Mcaleese also at light middle face selected opposition.

Also there's the pro debut of cruiserweight hope Tony Conquest looking to make an impression on the domestic scene, plus at light heavy Billy Slate plus Bushey Heath's Liam Shinwin at light welter, plus back up to super middle Matt Jack the Cambridgshire fighter takes on Scott Douglas, Jack a game strong type had an amazing fight back here in March with Pat Mendys!

Also last but not least is a woman's contest featuring none other than Juliette Winter whose boxing over six twos.
